Utah public Lands
Utah is one of the "public lands states" with 66% of land under
Federal control, including National Parks, National Forests, Bureau of
Land Management property, and military reservations. In addition 8% of
Utah land is owned by the State of Utah including a system of State Parks
and School and Institutional Trust Lands which are managed or sold to
raise revenue for education..
