To aid in understanding the development of the ARPANET, an interactive timeline spanning the ARPANET's existence (1969-1980) was created by Justin Sorensen, the Geospatial Information Specialist. Using information provided by Jimmy Miklavcic, maps containing nodes and connections were created for each year using ArcGIS. A timeline was then created using Adobe Captivate, displaying the map for each year, along with available node information through a user-friendly interface.
