J. Bracken Lee was governor of Utah from 1948 to 1956 and served as Salt Lake City mayor from 1962 to 1974. Included are portraits of Lee and his wife in the l950s, photos of Lee serving in his official role as mayor of Salt Lake City, and nineteenth-century portraits, possibly of Lee's ancestors. Manuscript materials available in MS 37. Microfilm copies of Lee's gubernatorial papers are also available. A list of audio-visual materials, accompanying the collection, including audio and video interviews with Governor Lee, is found in Audio-Visual Register A0037.
