The "Silver Queen" Scrapbook (Ms 634)
The "Silver Queen" Scrapbook (1902-1906) was kept by Susanna Bransford Emery-Holmes, Utah's "Silver Queen," and
holds, primarily, news clippings about her and her concerns in and out of Utah. Documented are the planning and
construction of the Bransford (later the Eagle Gate) Apartments in Salt Lake City, her home ("Gardo House"), social
notices from Chicago and other eastern newspapers, silver mining in Utah, and the activities of her husband, Col. Edwin
F. Holmes. A register is available.
