"History of Daniel and Amanda Bradley Henrie" (Ms 46)
This sketch, "History of Daniel and Amanda Bradley Henrie" (1955),
was written by Callie 0. Morley, a great-grand-daughter. It is a story of
early Mormon settlement, and includes a discussion of the deprivations
suffered by Mormon Battalion members under leadership of Col. Cooke.
Morley also recorded an account of pioneering hardships in the town of
Manti. Daniel Henrie (1824-1914) converted to the Mormon Church in 1842.
He and Amanda Bradley Henrie (1829-1903) were married in 1849 by Brigham
Young. A register is available.
