"The Unfinished Life's Story of George Christian Riser" (Undated) is a ten-page typescript of an autobiographical sketch that discusses the early life of Riser (1818-1892) in Germany and his immigration with his parents to the United States, where he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and settled in Nauvoo, Illinois. The account ends in the winter of 1846 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Genealogical information about the Riser family is also provided. A register is available.
