Archaeological and Paleontological Exploration Records (Ms 215)

University of Utah Marriott Library, Manuscripts Division

The Archaeological and Paleontological Exploration Records (1934-1935) contains a report of the project carried out by the Utah Museum Association. The purpose of this report on a reconnaissance survey was to locate and record sites of archaeological and paleontological interest. A second purpose was to increase awareness of the benefits of a state museum and give impetus to the move to house such a collection within the state. A register is available.
