The William Huntington Diary (1835, 1841-1845) holds both an autobiographical sketch and diary entries covering a ten-year period beginning with Huntington's (1784-1846) baptism into the Mormon Church. The diary entries, beginning in 1841, describe activities in Kirtland, Far West, and Nauvoo; Huntington's work as a stonecutter for the Nauvoo LDS Temple; the destruction of the Nauvoo Expositer press; and the assassination of Joseph and Hyrum Smith. The documents also discusses LDS doctrinal developments in Nauvoo. A register is available.
