The Utah Holiday Records (1972-1993, bulk 1989-1993) contains a nearly- complete run of this regional publication as well as administrative, financial, personnel, and circulation records relating to its publication and sale. Utah Holiday was first published in October 1971 by Utah Holiday Publishing Co. Throughout its 21-year history, its contents focused on events, people, and places in Salt Lake City and the rest of Utah. The magazine's publisher changed several times during its history. The administrative files in the collection reflect the 1989-1993 activities of the final two publishers, Tuesday Publishing and Cummings Communications. The administrative files in boxes 1-5 contain a variety of financial reports recording general expenses, advertising fees, taxes, and payroll information. These files also contain employee records, circulation and consignment sales data, advertising contracts, and miscellaneous office files. The circulation records in boxes 6-13 (each of which contains four shoeboxes holding these documents) contain information on individual subscriptions, renewals, and cancellations. Issues of Utah Holiday from 1972-1993 are housed in boxes 14-17. An inventory is available.
