  Woody Anderson Papers

The Woody Anderson Papers (1956-1991) contain news clippings, brochures, travel guides, correspondence, resumes, and a typescript of a two-part interview with Anderson. The collection concerns Anderson's ski industry career, beginning in the 1950s when he taught skiing and owned a ski shop in Brighton. Anderson (b. 1932) has been involved in the ski industry since 1947, when he worked for the Deseret News Ski School. In addition to instructing, owning ski shops and ski areas, and promoting skiing opportunities for youth, he has been associated with the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the Utah Ski Association. Photographs associated with this collection are housed in the Multimedia Archives (P0457). Size: 3 lin. ft. An inventory is available.
