Historical GIS Visualization using Sanborn Maps (1884 & 1950)
This is a current project and while the final product had not yet been determined, the project will ultimately present a visual analysis of different topics for the study area while incorporating materials available through the Marriott Library.
Utilizing ArcGIS and Google Earth, this project is the first step in examining and comparing BLM proposal changes over time. By expanding this project further, researchers will be able to provide insight into future changes and developments while answering questions that may have previously been unconsidered.
