Off Campus Access
Most library resources are available to current University students, faculty and staff from home or other remote locations. You will need a uNID (University Network ID) to verify your access.
TO CONNECT TO LIBRARY RESOURCES FROM HOME:
- Use the Student Portal. Login with your uNID and find links to your classes (including WebCT), course reserves, research tools, and many library resources.
- Go directly to the Article Databases and Course Reserves pages; you'll be prompted for your uNID.
- Use the Web-VPN. Use your own Internet Service Provider, login with your uNID and you can go to any campus pages, including pages at the libraries and get easy access to library resources. Works only for web pages. See Information for Health Sciences users.
- Download and install VPN software on your machine. Provides more complete access to library and UU resources.
- Dial-up to the UU modem pool. Note: A connection limit of 3 hours total connect-time over the last 7 days of usage.
801-924-0783 - for 90 minute connection time
801-924-0639 - for 15 minute connection time
