About Our Collections

The library welcomes suggestions about our collections.  We are able to buy most books recommended by the University community.

Suggest a book or media purchase

Committing to new subscriptions is more constrained by the budget.  The library tries to balance the requestors; desire for new journals and databases with the wish of other patrons that existing titles be continued,

Questions and comments about the collection

Librarians are assigned to each academic department and format.  Most academic departments appoint a faculty member as liaison to the library.

The direction of the main collection is overseen by the Collection Development section of the Scholarly Resources Division.
