Land-Transportation Planning

land useIntegrated land use-transportation scenario planning employs a range of possible future scenarios to facilitate public decision-making on land use policies and transportation investments. The technique has been used with increased frequency since the late 1980s. This digital collection includes summary documents from the leading scenario planning projects in U.S. metropolitan areas between 1988 and 2003. It is part of broader research on scenario planning undertaken by Professor Keith Bartholomew, College of Architecture + Planning. Other products from that project include a summary report and an annotated bibliography.
