 EndNote Web

Effective March 31, 2007, we will end our subscription to RefWorks, previously provided at no charge to the campus by a partnership of OIT and the Marriott Library.

We are substituting EndNote Web, free to the University because of the library's subscription to Web of Knowledge, which can be used as a standalone or in conjunction with the EndNote desktop product, which can be purchased via the Office of Software LIcensing.

If you prefer to continue to use RefWorks, you may purchase a personal account from them. You must do this by March 31, 2007 to avoid losing your citations. Go to http://www.refworks.com/content/path_learn/purchase.asp where you can sign up for an account. The cost is $100.00.

To sign up for an EndNote Web account:

1) Access EndNote Web at http://www.myendnoteweb.com/

You will either need to be on a campus computer, or connecting via My.Utah.edu or via the proxy server.

Alternatively, you can go to the Library's Article Databases page, select the Web of Knowledge database and then use the EndNote Web link there.
