Cyber Café

The U of U campus is a commuter campus and students who don’t live in the dormitories spend long days in campus centers such as the library. Last year we had 1.5 million entrances to our library. In user satisfaction surveys students have requested a place to purchase food in the library. A place where they can refresh, gather with peers, and plug in their laptops, the cyber café will be a wonderful addition to the library’s first floor.

Components of the Cyber Café

• A central gathering place for students
• Wired for laptops and other personal computing devices
• Located close to the northwest entrance which sees 60% of all entrances
• Good food
• Open early and late
