• 2 million items (with widths at 1”)
• Various different deep bins (6”, 8”, and 11” bins) to accom- modate various types of materials (oversized items, etc.)
• Ability to load 1 million items in 2-3 months
• Initial items loaded will use 55% of ARC capacity

• ARC will cover a 13,000 square foot area
• Volume of 704,000 cubic feet
• 4 different robots (cherry pickers)
• Economic impact of storing – ARC construction costs $4 per item vs. new library construction cost of $20 per item
• Will take 5-10 minutes to retrieve items
• Other ARC’s in the nation receive 70-100 retrieval requests per day
