Reducing Textbook Costs - Find Help

Find Help

The Campus Store, Marriott Library and Print & Mail Services have partnered to form The Course Material Services Team – we are here to help:

  • The Campus Store can help you find low-cost versions (i.e. rentals, ebooks, used books) of assigned course materials. The earlier you submit requests, the better the chance to locate low-cost versions.

Josh Clemens, Email, 801-581-4158

  • Marriott Library can help you find open (free) course materials and help you consider copyright and fair use guidelines when creating course packs or posting content online. Requests for Marriott Library eReserves must be accompanied by a fair use evaluation in a new online form. Email and paper forms will be used only when requesting that printed books be placed on the Reserve shelf.

Allyson Mower, Email, 801-585-5458

Diane Griffiths, Email, 801-581-6049

Stan Clements, Email, 801-585-5019

  • Print & Mail Services can also help you consider copyright and fair use guidelines when creating course packs, as well as, secure copyright permission and produce course packets for materials that don't qualify under fair use.
