C. Julii Caesaris quae exstant
In 1670 Pierre-Daniel Huet, a remarkable scholars of the age, was asked by Louis XIV to tutor his son, the Dauphin. While holding this office, Huet planned the publication of a collection of works necessary for the education of the young prince and other sons of nobility. Adusum Delphini, published for the most part between 1674 and 1691, was considered extremely prestigious at the time. C. Julii caesaris is part of that collection.
