RIA Web-based Tax Information
Welcome RIA Tax Research Libraries and Tax News on the Web.
We have previously offered the RIA services using networked CD-ROM with an MS-DOS
based interface. Please give this new service a try and let us know what you think.
But first, please carefully read the following:
- Use the "Connect to RIA" link below to connect the RIA Web-based services.
Use will need Release 3.0 or higher of Netscape Navigator or Microsoft
Internet Explorer to use this service.
- Another Web-browser window will appear on top of this window. If you get a logon
screen, dismiss the window and click on "Access RIA Services" again. Someone has probably
forgotten to properly logout of a session.
- You will probably want to set personal preferences.
You will need to do this each time you use this service. We have
25 user IDs for the RIA. Each time you use the service you will be
assigned a different user ID. You may have to use the "Main Menu"
link if you pick up someone else's session.
- To logout of RIA:
- Use the "Main Menu" link to return to the Main Menu.
- Click on the RED LOGOUT button. Be sure to logout. Not logging out may
cause problems for other users.
- After logging out you will encounter an RIA Checkpoint logon screen
Do not attempt to manually logon again.
- Dismiss the RIA window (For Windows 95 double click on the "X" in the
upper right hand corner of the browser window).
- You will then be back at this window.
