New Release: Chap. XXIV
Red Butte Press announces CHAP. XXIV, the third imprint of the Book Arts Program (BAP), a division of Special Collections at the J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah. BAP imprints are designed, printed, and bound in-house; feature collaborations with University of Utah scholars and artists; and provide active educational opportunities for book arts students.
- Problems of Description in the Language of Discovery has been accepted for exhibition in the 2014 Ink, Press, Repeat: National Juried Printmaking and Book Art Exhibition juried by Susan Tallman, Editor-in-Chief of Art in Print.
- Juror Ellen Lupton, has selected CHAP. XXIV for inclusion in DesignArts Utah 2014. The exhibition will open to the public at the Rio Gallery in Salt Lake City on August 29 at noon. The closing reception and celebration will be on October 17, 6–9 pm.
- Author, editor, and poet Michael Cross, AKA The Disinhibitor, says of Chap. XXIV, “This might be one of the most beautiful books I've ever owned!”
