Curriculum & Juvenile Collections

Linda St. Clair helping student

The Curriculum Collection supports Education students, University of Utah staff and faculty, and the Utah community at large: parents, homeschoolers, working teachers and alumni from the College of Education. It is the teaching resource for such diverse areas as foreign languages and special education. The collection houses a variety of educational collections including textbooks and teacher's guides, testing materials, and audio visual items and computer programs. The materials are arranged by Library of Congress call numbers as used in academic libraries. It is in close proximity to the Juvenile collection at the south end of level 1.

The Juvenile Collection consists of fiction and non-fiction materials for children and young adults. The materials are arranged by Dewey Decimal call number (just like in school and public libraries).

These collections are meant to be used together, hence the proximity to one another. There is a library guide available to assist with using the collection. Please check it out for more information about both collections.
