GenderWatch: Collection of international journals, magazines, newsletters, regional publications, special reports and conference proceedings devoted to women's and gender issues. Full text coverage.

Women's Studies Encyclopedia: A multidisciplinary reference on the collective experiences of women. Prepared by 425 scholars from all disciplines, features 701 alphabetically listed entries, coverage of 1,250 historical figures, analysis of women and society and culture throughout history, cross-references, and bibliography.

Women's Studies Index: Covers journals in the field of women's studies, including topics such as feminist philosophy, politics, health care, family life, and more. Index and abstracts only.

Women Writers Online: Database of pre-Victorian women's writing. The initial release of Women Writers Online includes over 200 English texts by women written before 1830, with a broadly interdisciplinary range of subjects and genres. Together with poetry, fiction, and drama, the collection includes women's contributions to religious and political debates, and to science, history, philosophy and medicine. The collection offers broad coverage of authors from many different backgrounds, those of recognized stature and those whose work is still unknown, selected with the aim of presenting texts which are hard to find in print. Each primary source is linked to a brief biographical sketch of the author. Full text coverage.

Global NewsBank: Contains comprehensive coverage of news summaries, broadcasts and transcripts from hundreds of international sources. Full text coverage.

Humanities Abstracts: Covers humanities and related subjects. Citations and abstracts only.

JSTOR: Provides image and text access to back issues of selected scholarly journals in history, economics, political science, demography, mathematics, and other fields of the humanities and social sciences. Full text coverage..

MLA Bibliography: Consists of bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. Citations and abstracts only.

Periodicals Contents Index: Index to the contents of thousands of periodicals in the humanities and social sciences, from their first issues to 1991. Citations only.

Project MUSE: Access to scholarly journals in politics from the John Hopkins University press. Full text coverage.

ProQuest Newspapers : coverage of over 150 U.S. and international newspapers. Ninety days of full text articles to the New York Times and Wall Street Journal are included.

ProQuest Digital Dissertations: Access to the first 24 pages of dissertations that have been published since 1997. Full text access to University of Utah Dissertations published from 1997 and forward, and citations only to dissertations before that date.

Oxford English Dictionary: This resource is available to University of Utah users only.The Oxford English Dictionary is a historical dictionary of English, covering the language from the earliest times to the present day. It aims to show not only the current meanings of words, but also to trace their development through time. Entries contain detailed etymological analysis, and are illustrated by quotations from a wide range of English language sources from around the world, making the OED a unique historical record.
